The Erasmus+ KA2 «DDBS-Learning» project achieved another landmark in its journey towards revolutionizing adult education with its second face-to-face meeting held at the Emphasys Centre in Nicosia, Cyprus, on the 11th and 12th of January 2023. This gathering of transnational partners marked a pivotal moment in the project’s evolution, bringing together diverse expertise and ideas for the advancement of the innovative Distance Demonstration-Based Learning (DDBS-L) approach.

During the meeting the partners were able to make progress on the development of IO1, the curriculum for VET educators and trainers. Dimitra took the stage to discuss IO1/A2 (Self-assessment tool and methodological guide) and IO1/A3 (Development of the curriculum), providing insights into the development process. Attention was given to IO1/A4, focusing on monitoring and changes during the pilot phase. 

GSI unveiled the O2/A1 DDBS-Learning Handbook, offering comprehensive insights into the methodology. The learning training activity (O2/A2) was also discussed, showcasing the practical aspects of the project’s implementation.

KEK provided an overview of IO3 – the eLearning Platform, highlighting its role in facilitating effective learning experiences.

The meeting included a comprehensive discussion of the interim report, ensuring that all partners were aligned with project goals and objectives. Questions from all partners were addressed during the session, fostering clarity and mutual understanding.

The second day featured a cultural excursion to Omodos, a traditional village in Cyprus. Partners engaged in a wine-tasting experience at Ktima Yerolemo, enjoying the rich cultural and gastronomic offerings of the region. The day concluded with lunch, coffee, and a leisurely walk, providing a harmonious blend of cultural immersion and team bonding.

The second face-to-face meeting in Nicosia was a testament to the collaborative spirit and dedication of the Erasmus+ KA2 «DDBS-Learning» project partners. As the project continues to unfold, it promises to reshape adult education, making it more accessible, innovative, and impactful.
